Elastic Engagements Create Value Efficiently

Highlights of Pack Computing Engagements

1-2 week iterations

As we learn about your goals, we'll work together to setup an interation cadence that best fits your existing team's work. We've learned from experience that short, weekly iterations confer great benefits compared with longer iterations.

No long-term obligations

Long-term contracts for development services often benefit the service provider (us) not the customer (you). Where many software providers seek to increase consistency and lower cash flow risk through long-term contracts, we're able to manage our risks in ways that don't tie our customers into agreements that may not be advantageous.

Discounts for reserved capacity

If your team knows the level of effort you need in advance, we offer discounts for reserving development unit capacity long term.

Total transparency

We're flexible enough to provide highly-customized services, but it's often hard for teams to know what levers are available for improvement. We provide you with maximum transparency so you can experiment and improve iteratively.

Pay only for what you need

Teams' needs often change significantly during periods of experimentation and growth. We're committed to matching our services to your needs. Engage us week-to-week, press pause whenever you like, and scale up or down our level of contribution.

We measure level of contribution in development units, each of which correspond to approximately 1/4 of an experienced Sr. Developer. If you feel you need 1 full time equivalent (FTE), we'll scale our services to 4 development units.

Get what you pay for.

We're in the business of delivering software. At the end of each iteration, you will receive all the current assets for our project, including git branches for work in progress, credentials for third-party services, and all relevant documentation. If you choose to replace our efforts by hiring full-time employees or any other reason, you own and possess everything you've

The Agile Manifesto

The following content is copied directly, for convenience, from Manifesto for Agile Software Development.

We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:

Individuals and interactions over processes and tools

Working software over comprehensive documentation

Customer collaboration over contract negotiation

Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

Pack Computing offers full-stack software development engagements for Agile teams.

We love hearing about teams' goals for growth, and if we're not a good fit for your project, we're happy to provide connections to others who may be.
